Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.
Experimental Department.
Derby.

Dear Sir,.

I wrote the other day to Mr. Bernard Day, as being the only gentleman I knew connected with Rolls Royce Ltd to ask him if he would assist me in getting a trial made of "Vigored" of which I enclose particulars.

I have had a great many tests made so far, all of them perfectly satisfactory and I am quite prepared to arrange for my technical colleague to come down and make a trial, free of all expense.

Mr. Day advised me to apply to you and I shall be very glad to know whether you could agree to my proposal and if so what day and time would suit you best?

Yours faithfully.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} T. White
