Sidgreaves - MD}2/D17.7.30. The radiator fitted to 24-EX. is the new designed type with the shallow top tank. 24-EX. car is the first car which this radiator has been fitted to, and it is the first time that this design of radiator has been run. The question of the loss of water has been gone into, and we are hoping to get a modified radiator sent out to Chateauroux before the Works Holiday. The loss of water on this car is a different complaint to that which occurred on 23-EX. On 24-EX. about half a gallon of water is lost and then no more water is thrown out, in the case of 23-EX which is fitted with a filter the whole of the water of the radiator was pitched out because the filter restricted the flow.
