Dear Sirs,

We acknowledge with many thanks the receipt of your letter dated May 18th. The coupling to which you are referring is identified by Drg. 13.88 and this is identical with the units recently supplied to Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited., who, we are glad to note, have given their consent to your goodselves to employ the same Heater Flexible Drives as manufactured to their requirements.

It is confirmed that we are entering these units at the rate of 4/9d. each, without a Mould charge as you have obtained Messrs. Rolls-Royce permission to use their own equipment.

However, a letter signed by Mr. G.Roden of your address, was received today and we have noted that an Official Order will be forwarded to us in course of post and we have also advised him of the price involved per unit for record purposes.

The writer when talking to you over the 'phone on Tuesday last, was glad to note that Mr. Heal of Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited. was present at the time of our conversation on this subject and a copy of this letter is being sent to him to explain that we are fully aware of the position regarding the Mould question between your good-
