-2- Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/MJ.2.2.36.Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Bentley's. Although we have six numbers for Bentley cars, 6-B-1V has never been on the road, 5-B-1V has not been on the road since 5. 8. 35, 56-BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} has been dismantled since 18. 12. 35., which really leaves us with one reasonable Bentley car as 1-B-1V and 3-B-1V can only be considered as carriers of experimental pieces. Cadillac. This is being used for comparative tests and we have just promised the Works that they can have it to examine in connection with production costs and to get out a report similar to that which they did on the Packard. The Packard and Buick car have been entirely dismantled and are still dismantled in order to collect data as regards detail design and production costs. In our opinion these cars are being used to advantage. We do not consider these jobs to be of No.1 urgency and therefore it is difficult for us to say when they will be running again.
