In reference to your memo Sn{Mr Sanderson}12/B26614, we presume that this should read that Sales wish to sell and not to see the chasses you quote, in which case we wish to say that both Messrs Hives & Haldenby state that they do not wish to sell any of the 4 cars you mention, as they are quite short of cars for experimental purposes and I understand that Sales have stated that they cannot allow the Experimental Dept. a new car before the erection of the Northcliffe chassis. As to the delivery of chassis 2200, this is now a matter for the Repair Dept. to deal with, and I am writing them to see if they can give an approximate date. p.
