PHANTOM 11 - RADIATOR MOUNTING.

DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M.17.8.31.

As requested we send you herewith blueprints of the following drawings :-

Sch. 1529 showing centre point suspension for radiator.

We understand that Sch. 1. is fitted on 25-EX.

GL.{G. Linnett} 431 showing modified feed tube in front axle pivot pin.

GL.{G. Linnett} 479 showing modified lubrication of rear brake actuating shafts.

Spring steel oil pipe clips for holding the Bijur pipes to the front and rear road springs.

G.77490 Arrgt. of drive for speedometer, from which it will be noted that spiral grooves have been provided to prevent oil creeping out and into the flexible tube.

This has been a standard feature for some time, and was made in view of complaints received from customers, and has cured the trouble so far as we are aware.

In regard to the question of seizing up, we are arranging for four grooves about .125" wide to be machined radially in the flanges of the bushes of the three bearings in question.
