Lorry file Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson}10/B. 7th February, 1940. Adrian Gee, Esq., Avenue Road, DUFFIELD, Nr. Derby. Dear Mr. Gee, You may remember meeting me at the Robothams some time ago. I hope you will forgive me for worrying you, but I want to get hold of some information and I thought you might be able to help me by answering the following questions:- (1) What make of lorry or truck does your firm use? (2) Do you stick to one make? (3) What would you suggest should be done to improve the best type of lorry that you use? (4) If you use one particular make, why have you standardized it? (5) An analysis of the running costs of the various vehicles. This sounds as if I am just being a nuisance but if you can let me have this information, it is going to be a enormous help in some investigations we are now making. Yours sincerely, (D.G.Abbot-Anderson). | ||
