Experimental Test Report.
This is not an alteration in design but alteration in the method of forming the teeth - the same standard gears are used. 7 sets of these gears were fitted to standard production gear boxes - they were not rubbed or ground in.
Road Test Report.
One box was run for several hours on the dynamometer. There was no sign of any wear on the gears. The seven gears were all passed as very good and were a definite improvement over present standard for silence.
