STEERING OF ALL CARS.

With reference to Hsl/Lw1.4.24, we have written to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} and E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} to-day on this subject, as attached copies.

With reference to CJ's note on H1/M29.3.24, reading "What makes of wheels should be forbidden?" we gather from your reply that steel artillery wheels are the chief difficulty. Are there any other makes of wheels which should be forbidden for the present, please?

Doubtless By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will be ascertaining how soon steel artillery wheels can be made to suit front brakes, as this matter is of great importance.
