LEFT-HAND PHANTOM II CHASSIS.

If this car is to start for a 10,000 miles test by the first of June it will be necessary for us [a line is struck through the following text] to get instructions for modifications to be incorporated at once. The following is the list which we know of, [end of struck-through text] there may be others. :- [red checkmark to the right]

(1) Thermostat to be made double acting.
X (2) Scheme for starting handle and number plate.
(3) Modified controls.
(4) Re-arrangement of pipes (oil pipes, exhaust pipes from hot spot, and air vent pipes).
X (5) Modified clutch for Auto-Klean filter.
X (6) Modified position for central oiling pump. At present it is impossible to press the pedal from the driver's seat.

X (7) Modified arrangement of oiling pipes on axle and to the front shock absorbers.
(8) Modification to enable full clutch movement to be obtained. At present this is re-stricted by the accelerator shaft. [Handwritten in red '1' to the right]

(9) Modifications to sphere and shrouding of the change speed lever.
(10) Instructions for fitting new shape radiator with sphere mounting to 24-EX.
(11) Modifications to resistance for half charge scheme.
X (12) Modifications to prevent rattles in change speed lever.
(13) Instructions as regards what type of dimming switch is to be used.
