If this car is to start for a 10,000 miles test by the first of June it will be necessary for us [a line is struck through the following text] to get instructions for modifications to be incorporated at once. The following is the list which we know of, [end of struck-through text] there may be others. :- [red checkmark to the right] (1) Thermostat to be made double acting. X (2) Scheme for starting handle and number plate. (3) Modified controls. (4) Re-arrangement of pipes (oil pipes, exhaust pipes from hot spot, and air vent pipes). X (5) Modified clutch for Auto-Klean filter. X (6) Modified position for central oiling pump. At present it is impossible to press the pedal from the driver's seat. [Handwritten]: Lec.2800 X (7) Modified arrangement of oiling pipes on axle and to the front shock absorbers. (8) Modification to enable full clutch movement to be obtained. At present this is re-stricted by the accelerator shaft.
