1380 S/W Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}..from C. C8/C1.11.38 Re Paulin Streamline Bentley. This car, as you probably know, belongs to Mr.Embericos. He has a friend named Lowenstein, who has asked Paris if they will supply him with a duplicate of it. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} wrote to you on the 3rd inst. setting out our views regarding this body as a type. I should be interested to know your views re supplying a single duplicate. We do not want to go to any expense in connection with the chassis, and we are reluctant to agree to a duplicate being made because of the lack of visibility and the inefficiency of the brakes owing to the absence of wind resistance, when pulling up the car. We should not like to encourage in any way the building of a car which might be a source of danger, and consequently damage our reputation. Do you agree that these two points are sources of danger?
