-2- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}1/JH.26.1.38. This Lucas switch is built up on the end bracket of the starter motor to form one unit, and weighs complete with brush gear 1 lb. 14 ozs. The standard R.R. switch weighs 1 lb. 15 ozs. At the completion of the tests, the switch was dismantled and found to be in a very good condition. Very little metal dust had accumulated and the amount of wear negligible. Assuming that Messrs. Lucas will maintain this standard, we can recommend this unit for use on the Bentley chassis. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} | ||
