To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to By/RD. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}8/JH.4.7.39. lucas ammeter with modified movement. The two experimental Lucas ammeters type B4 with improved movement Nos.LT.2022 and LT.2023 submitted for test, have now been examined and tested on the bench. Some attempt appears to have been made to eliminate the possibility of 'sticking' and during the bench test there were certainly no signs of it. We think, therefore, we might now order a number of these instrument, say six with a view to obtaining an average performance on the car. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} | ||
