Self-aligning Brake Equaliser Shafts - Bentley.

It is understood that certain slight modifications are required to this as a result of the inspection of the first example.

(1) All the bolts holding the brake differential together to be countersunk headed instead of one only, as now.

(2) Longer bolts in the adjustable bracket..

(3) Brazed ends to shafts to be eliminated.

(4) Taper dowelling pins to be accessible from above instead of underneath.

N. Sch.3932 shews (4) and notes on this drawing cover (1) and (2).

(3) has already been instructed on N. Sch.3912.

These points are also being included, where applicable, on the 40/50 and 20/25 HP. schemes.
