Dear Mr.Symons,

Many thanks for your letter, Enclosed herewith is the completed form you require, together with the registration Book to enable you to obtain a Fiscal Permit if necessary. My international driving permit is in order and will cover the trip.

I note your remarks as to inoculation.

You have probably heard from Mr. Robotham that after lengthy discussions with Dunlops, the 7.50 X 18 tyres are going to be fitted. He will probably explain the reason for this discussion.

I shall certainly let you know when I am next in London, but do not see much hope yet. I will however, let you know as soon as possible.

We are arranging for all the necessary instruments to be obtained here, except the Tapley meter, which we would be glad if you will obtain.

Yours sincerely,

(Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ?)
