To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from EFC. NC/18.9.26. V2894 x4652 LIFE OF IGNITION CONTACT POINTS. In accordance with a scheme which we have arranged of systematically observing the results on contact point life utilising the eight combinations of - (a) Standard or finer primary ignition coil, (b) Single or double value ballast resistance, (c) Platinum or British tungsten contact points, we should be pleased if you would let us have the milometer reading and the condition of the British tungsten points on 9-GIII, and the milometer reading and present condition of the standard platinum points on 10-EX.
