Appendix.

Weight of B.50 Family Saloon unladen - 36 cwts,
= 4032 lbs.

Assume weight distribution front and rear to
be equal to that of the Wraith C.T.L. -
25-G-VI. which is:

Front 2100 lbs.
Rear 2154 "

Then front and rear weights of B.50 are:

Front 1990 lbs.
Rear 2042 "

If we spring the car for a load in the
similar way to that adopted for our present cars
with this type of body, we take three passengers of
150 lbs and put 25% on the front and 75% on the rear.
We also add 1 cwt of luggage all on the rear.

This gives:

Front 2102 lbs.
Rear 2494 "

Assuming the unsprung weight of the rear to
be the same as for B.2. i.e. 400 lbs, the rear sprung
weight = 2094 lbs.

The rear springs would be 1050 lbs.
