NEW PEREGRINE UNIT.

We do not know the position of the crankshaft, but for our experimental work we much prefer this unit to be a 4 1/4" stroke, as a 4" stroke will only confuse our results. Of course we should like the crankshaft to have the R.R. 6-d weight scheme, and the low inertia type of slipper wheel as instructed by Gry{Shadwell Grylls}, 8.9.32.

Pistons.
Latest flexible type.

Cylinder & Main Bearing Studs.
Increased diameter.

Petrol Pump.
Stroke increased to .250

Lubrication.
Improved oil filling passages. Passages from the relief valve, to the original LeC, and not blanked off.

Camshaft.
Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 646. 104°. Two inlet cams. This has already been made.

Clutch.
Latest modification including, deletion of breather holes, flexible coupling, etc.

Cylinder Head.
To E.100520.

Rocker Pedestals.
Deletion of overhang.

Starter Ratio:
This should be the 13-1 type
