Ben Hopkins, Esq.,
The Savoy Hotel,
LONDON.

Dear Mr. Hopkins,

You very kindly offered to supply us with some of your Cleveland Graphite Bronze clutch material when you visited us at Derby.

We are really very badly in need of some such metal facing on the clutch, drawings of which I enclose.

If the material proves satisfactory on this clutch it would, of course, be a 'God-send' owing to the reduction of the inertia of the clutch member.

You have probably got sufficiently far with your lining to be fairly certain it will work, if this is so, a couple of dozen sets would give us a chance of getting some results on test quickly.

Yours sincerely,

Enclo: G.54793.
G.54327.
