Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY

Dear Sirs:-

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 11th instant contents of which we note.

We very much regret to note that one of the cells failed by becoming dead short circuited, but could you possibly oblige us with a brief report detailing the charges and discharges to which this Accumulator has been submitted. As the fault you mention is one to which the Fors Accumulator is not liable we are particularly interested in your letter, and should esteem it a favour if you would return the complete accumulator in case direct to our Works,

The Erith Battery Co., Ltd.,
Callender's Works,
Belvedere
Kent.

if you have not already despatched the Accumulator to us.

We desire to extend our thanks to you for the opportunity you kindly gave us to have our Battery tested by you, but as the fault mentioned by you is extremely unusual we desire to investigate this matter fully..

Yours faithfully,

For & on behalf of
G.H.T.Peterson (Engineers' Merchants) Ltd

...Nelson

Secretary.
