RE. OIL LEAKS FROM COS. GEARBOX. X.4247.

We send you herewith drawings Nos. LeC.1508 and 1509, shewing some modifications dealing with the above.

The former drawing shews the pitch line circles of the bolts on the gearbox expanded to ensure surface.

Between each bolt hole and the edge of the joint surface, it requires practically no alteration to the gearbox casting but the bosses on the gearbox covers require expanding.

Drawing LeC.1509 shews the slight modifications necessary to the reverse gear pin.

Would you kindly instruct the necessary modifications to be put in hand.
