HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG1 9.9.24. OBJECT OF TEST. TESTS WITH LOWER LIFT CAMS. TESTER. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Farmer. CONDITIONS. E.A.C. engine on test bench. SUMMARY OF TEST. It will be seen from the H.P. curves that there is no appreciable drop in H.P. with the lower lift cams, and that the H.P. is maintained at higher speeds. The oscilloscope shows the valves to follow the cams up to 2700 r.p.m., after that, the inlet valves leave the cams. With the high lift Camshaft, this occurs at 2570 r.p.m. It will be seen that the inlet valves leave the cams much more early than the exhaust valves. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
