Recommendations for Foot Brake Connections.

Rear.

Pin foot brake equaliser shaft solid and remove output lever on o.s. of car. Connect up n.s. output lever as usual. Equalising shaft input lever to be connected to servo as usual but with slotted fork on input lever. The large levers G.53637 on rear axle are removed already. The three other levers to which cables are attached may be removed.

Front.

Re-drill Girling's 2.6" centres lever on front axle to 2.1" centres and connect up as usual to equaliser shaft.

Alternatively increase the length of the two output levers on front equaliser shaft from 2.7" to 3.35", and connect up to bell cranks on front axle (2.6" centres).

Recommendations for Hand Brake.

Fix lever to pinned rear foot brake equaliser shaft 3" long projecting upwards and connect to hand brake with a slotted link on equaliser shaft. The hand brake equaliser shaft can be removed.
