CHASSIS ELECTRICAL UNITS BEING DEVELOPED, AND POSITION
F EACH.

Dynamo.
Lucas machine submitted for Wraith and Bentley.
Undergoing endurance tests. To be reported when finished.

Regulator.
A number have been submitted. This unit has been developed to a stage where the amount of compensation above has to be decided. Two units are running on cars in France. At present awaiting Lucas reply to our report.

Cutout.
Lucas unit at present being modified by makers.
To be tested on the bench for contact heating and volt-drop.
Two units are running in France, and a number locally.

Switchbox.
Investigation of cutting of flexible on push-button carbons.

Distribution Board.
New position of board in scuttle, and light for same.

Motor.
Lucas motor submitted. Bench tests, including intermittent load, endurance test, in progress.
Phantom motor, with cork washer scheme, running in France.

Main Switch.
Cheaper design of switch running in France.

Ignition coil.
Lucas coil being tested with R.R. Glowray ballast.
New R.R. coil being developed. D.756/2.
