Dear Sirs,

RE LIGHTING & STARTING BATTERIES.

In answer to yours Ref.M/C153 of the 15th inst., we do not require a celluloid battery of the smaller ampere hour capacity, but we would like to have an ebonite battery of the smaller 45 ampere hour capacity instead of an ebonite battery of the larger 60 ampere hour capacity, as suggested by you. The point about our decision is this that we wish to try ebonite against celluloid, and at the same time we wish to try 45 ampere hour against 60 ampere hour, but these two operations being what might be termed "independent variables" we shall have all we require by having a celluloid 60 ampere hour capacity, which we already have, and an ebonite 45 ampere hour capacity which we hope you will be able to make up for us.

Trusting you are not so far forward with the ebonite boxes for the larger ebonite battery that this will inconvenience you to any degree.

Very many thanks for your further remarks re changing acid, this point is now quite clear to us.

Yours faithfully,
