| Contd. -3- It is thought, however, owing to the great changes involved that neither (2) or (3) can materialize and as already stated, the only feasible proposition seems to be (1). It was therefore arranged that, subject to general approval, Messrs. Smith should be asked to proceed with the production of a switchbox of the nature described. It was arranged that we should supply Messrs. Smith with a diagram showing all the connections of the system, or particularly those which have to go in and out of this box, and that Messrs. Smith would design and make us up a sample of such a board. For this purpose we shall be making out a diagram of this nature and will submit this to you early next week with explanation. EFC. {E.
