X3730. RE "MORGAN" BODIES FOR CARS.

With reference to the attached correspondence, we suggest that before this matter is submitted to Mr. Royce, that L.H.S.{Lord Herbert Scott - Chair} should supply us with further information. For instance, the first essential is to have a blueprint of one of these bodies. Another point which is desirable is to have L.H.S's opinion of these bodies. Are they the sort of thing Conduit Street would recommend to fit to a Rolls-Royce Car., or are there possibilities that the idea might be developed so that eventually they would be suitable for Rolls-Royce Cars? We consider that our experts on body-building in London should say whether they think it is desirable that such a body should be ordered.
At present we are wanting to place on order a body for the Goshawk chassis. We might consider a Morgan body for that chassis if it is at all possible.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
