Re B.65.AE...Mr.R.Summers.

You will remember that this car was sent back to Park Wards for certain attention and among the items that were instructed as chargeable work was a set of new steel wings. For these Park Ward want to charge us £19.10.0.

I am not quite certain as to how this particular item arose, but I think that you were rather anxious to have some experience of steel wings on the Bentley to see if they stood up better than the aluminium, and you were using Mr.R.Summers' car for the experiment.

On the other hand it may be that Mr.Summers himself wanted to try these.

Perhaps you will please let me know because I want to decide who is to pay - that is, whether or not we can charge Mr.Summers.

C.
