W/S. {Derby Works / Sales} X7740 EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 4/T21.5.25. To Bk. {A. Birkett - Commercial Manager} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} FAILURE OF EMERGENCY MAIN FUSE ON EAC. TRIALS CAR. We are informed that one of your trials cars is suffering from repeated failure of the above fuse. This must mean that an earth is occurring on these portions of wire and terminals of the system which are not protected by the other fuses in the distribution box. Now please refer to the attached diagram which you may find useful generally. The portions marked out in red are those upon which the occurrence of an earth might cause the emergency fuse to go independently of any switch being on. Those marked in blue are those upon which the occurrence of an earth might cause the emergency fuse to go when the ignition or charging switch is on, and those marked in green are those upon which the occurrence of an earth might cause the emergency fuse to go when the head, side, and tail lamps are on.
