Since I heard from you PN.{Mr Northey} has taken up this question of springing with the Works and therefore it is better for me to leave it in his hands. Also, with regard to this question as dealt with in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2 of the 22nd. inst., I am endeavouring to get Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} to agree to the Continental type springs being fitted to the standard long type Phantom ll chassis, because if this is to be done then it seems to immediately involve us in the fitting of additional shock absorbers as well, and we may have to include these free if we cannot get the customer to pay for something which appears to be a necessary accessory to that kind of springing.
