X3147 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring} S/KW. 31st January, 1934. Messrs. Donald Sessions & Co.Ltd., 906, Harrow Road, Willesden, LONDON, N.W.10. Attention Mr. Donald Sessions. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of yesterday, and appreciate the explanation given therein with regard to the 20/25 HP. Jacks. We are sorry that you have been put to this trouble, as the mistake appears to have come from our Order Office. You will remember that we asked you to submit as soon as possible a set of Jacks to the new Specification, and at the same time we asked our Office to send through an Official Order to cover this set. Evidently they omitted to mention that the order was for the new type, so naturally you concluded that we required one of the old Mark II sets. We have pointed this out to our Office, and they are returning the Jacks in question and will await the new type. We may mention that a Standardisation Sheet was issued for 20/25 HP. Jacks some few days ago, and you should be receiving our official order very shortly. Thanking you for your prompt attention in the matter. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
