W.A. Robotham, Esq.,

Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

I am glad to note from yours of the 11th inst. that the Wellingtons you have received are satisfactory.

I think it would be more convenient if this transaction did not go through the books. I herewith enclose you the original invoice from the Footwear Division at Liverpool to Fort Dunlop, which you will see charges the boots out at 17/-. If you will remit me 17/- and return the invoice, the matter will then be fully dealt with.

With regard to the improved Silent tread tyres which we would like to have a look at, I note you have not yet located these, but I shall be glad to hear from you further in due course.

Dealing with new production, the sizes we are going to make a mould for, are -

6.00-19 for the 20 h.p.
7.00-20 for the 40/50 h.p.

Would you mind just confirming to me whether you want the Fort or Standard type. I understand that the 6.00-19 is in the Fort type, but I am a little uncertain about the 7.00-20. The Fort type is what we would recommend and prefer to see on your cars if you can manage to adopt it.

Yours faithfully,

W. Bond.
Development Manager.
