Messrs. Ferodo Ltd.,
Chapel-en-le-Frith.

For the attention of J.N. Longley Esq.

Dear Sir,

We are trying to find a taper packing made in insulating material instead of aluminium, as per enclosed sample.

This packing fits between the carburettor and the induction pipe hot spot, therefore the packing must withstand heat and petrol.

We should welcome any suggestions you may have with regard to material, and whether you are in the position to supply the same, also the cost.

The matter is somewhat urgent and we should be very glad if you could let us have an early reply.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
