THE ONE KNOB CONTROLS EVERYTHING 182, Vauxhall Bridge Road, London, S.W.I. EC/BG 23rd July, 1934. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. WST Dear Sirs, Attention of Mr. West. The writer has been requested by Major Cox in London to communicate with you regarding the examination of the suitability of "MOTOROLA" receivers for installation in the different types of Rolls-Royce chassis. In the course of the conversation with Major Cox on Friday, the writer arranged to propose to you that one of our engineers, who has had some considerable amount of experience in fitting "MOTOROLA" to various Rolls-Royce cars and chassis, should visit your Works at Derby and bring with him suitable receivers so that we could offer some actual collaboration, backed by a reasonable amount of practical past experience to help you towards the best methods of dealing with various technical points involved in connection with radio installation on automobiles. If the day is convenient to you, the writer would suggest that our engineer comes up with the necessary materials on Thursday, July 26th. Would you be good enough to write to us and let us know if this would be convenient. With compliments, Yours faithfully, THE MOTOROLA DISTRIBUTING COMPANY. | ||
