Description of Parts.
SPRING FOR CLOSING MAIN THROTTLE WHEN STARTER CARBURETTER IS FITTED.
Handwritten: for 40/50.

Origin.
Improved design.

Experimental Test Report.
The present design consists of a torsional spring. There is difficulty in producing consistent results.
It is necessary that the variation in spring load on throttle shall not be very great.
Handwritten: The improved part we wish to standardise has an extension spring.

Road Test Report.
Run 1000 miles on 49-GB Car.
Fitted to 4.EX - run 500 miles.
