Mr. Hopps contemplates having stone guards fitted to the front of the P.100 headlights of his new 4¼-litre chassis now in the coach-builders' hands.

We have been making enquiries as to where such fittings can be obtained and have been referred by Lucas themselves to Ewarts of Euston Road who we have previously heard will make up stone guards to special order.

But Mr. Hopps tells us that he saw an experimental P.III car at the works fitted with P.100 headlights with stone guards which he is almost sure were made by Lucas themselves.

Can you tell us whether this is so, please, and if the stone guards were not made by Lucas, the name of the firm who were responsible?
