Dear Mr Robotham,

re Mr R.{Sir Henry Royce} Pattinson,

I have heard from Mr Pratt, who is highly satisfied with his arm. He says " It will be quite safe to discard the splint now as complete consolidation has occured and his arm should be quite strong enough to survive anything except sudden violence."

I presume from this that he is fit for clerical work.
Will you communicate with Dr Shearwood - I have given him a copy of the report.

Kind regards,

Yours sincerely,

Alan Laurie
