-2- With regard to Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}'s statement that he would have got away with this engine by giving a nip up underneath and fitting the large oil pump, we do not agree for the following facts. 1. Lack of oil feed to rods due to crankshaft not being drilled. Mod.C. required. 2. Wear of crankshaft and ridges formed not good for nipping up of bearings. 3. Main journal bearings would still be slack in housing. 4. No.7. could not have been made good, due to crank journal condition. 5.
