must admit that I did not appreciate that it could be reduced to such a fine art especially with a car of this sort and with such a high performance. It apparently maintains its tune, and its behaviour is almost monotonously regular.

I can truthfully say that I have never had a car that gave me so little bother and such endless satisfaction.

Just recently I experienced your Service - at your request and not mine, it only goes to confirm my views not only of the motor but of your whole organisation: it is absolutely streets ahead of anything else.

I know how nice all these things sound - how easy it all looks but how damned difficult it all is to achieve.

[It is quite obvious that a tremendous amount of work has been put into that motor and many of us know that much credit is due to you] for your efforts in this direction. I think you have good reason to be proud of the results.

With kind regards
Yours sincerely
Neville Rollason.

The only grouses I have are
1 The front wings flap slightly
2 The gear lever rattles
3 The clutch judders
