FILE 300 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} E.4/HP.27.11.36. re Long Wheelbase Phantom III 33-EX. With reference to your memo to EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} copy to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, concerning the above, I attach herewith copy of E/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}13/MN.26.11.36 giving the history of this job. It will be seen that Rolls-Royce are to some extent to blame for delay on this job, but at the same time we have to realise that this is the first steel limousine that Ward has built, and that he found it was necessary to pull the job down completely once and re-construct it to make a good job.
