Dear Mr. Robotham,
I should like to thank you for your letter of 7th inst., and more particularly for the very kind assistance you have given us in bringing to the attention of our late Vice Chairman your interest in Fuel Injection apparatus.
I need hardly say that this intimation of your interest produced immediately the most desirable results, and we thereafter received the encouragement we were hoping for to proceed with this work.
Since my last visit to you it has been decided that a somewhat modified and considerably simplified version of the control gear, shown to you, is desirable, in the case of light aircraft engines where a boost control is not normally called for, and this arrangement would also appear to meet the requirements of the automobile engine.
We have now reached the stage where we wish immediately to proceed with a number
