RE STEERING WOBBLES
3rd. December 1918.

We have from time to time asked for a test to be made with the ball thrust washers removed from the steering pivots on the axle, and a plain fibre thrust fitted instead, to see whether the friction created at this point will reduce the tendency of steering wobbles in a car which has worn itself very free.
I think this suggestion was previously sent to Mr. Haldenby. Will Mr. Hives make, or repeat the experiments.
