RR 238-(300 Bks.) (SF 152. 6-11-18.) MP 197880 ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. To: EFC. Order No: P.B. 77 (3) Customer's No.: X 2894 X 4357. Jan. 29th 1923. fibre was worn away, was powdered into a light fluffy mass that thickly covered the breaker lever, cam, and other parts. At the end of 4,000 miles, this had to be cleared away as it was getting into the breaker lever bearing and also between the contact points. It was again covered by the end of the test. The six sparking points were badly corroded; the metal of the rotor, and even the gauze covering the ventilator being affected. Appreciable spark wear has now taken place on the rotor tip, this amounting to a depth of about .030" Signed: C.A.P. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
