18th April, 1934.

Messrs.Joseph Lucas Ltd.,
Great King Street,
Birmingham,19.

For the attention of Mr.Neill.

Dear Sir,

We confirm our short conversation with you yesterday regarding lamps, as follows :-

(a) Bentley Stop and Tail Lamp.

It was decided that you would return our sample lamp to us with the modified form of holding the reflector and we would put the same again on our chassis for further test. We understand also that you will be getting into touch with our Sales Dept., regarding the fact that on some of our latest R.R. bodies a new form of combined rear number plate and stop lamp is contemplated.

(b) Experimental Headlamps.

We requested that you would still further consider the question of a cap over the bulb on R.R. & Bentley Headlamps, and submit a pair of headlamps to us for test as soon as possible, so that this feature could be adopted if found satisfactory ready for the next lighting season.
