L.R.

Dear Sirs,

"We sent you the following enquiry on the 6th June, but to the time of writing do not appear to have heard from you with regard to same.

C.F.R. Engine for measuring the anti-knock value of aviation petrol complete with electric dynamometer knock-meter and the various instruments necessary for conducting a test. The equipment to be used for both research and motor method procedures.

Can you please let us know the makers of these, and we shall be pleased to have information from you by return, as this matter is now urgent.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours faithfully,
for BROWN BROTHERS LIMITED.
