No claim in respect of goods, for loss or damage during transit, will be considered unless the same be made in writing within three days after delivery of the goods. All Wood Packing Cases, etc., must be returned to our Works, at your expense, and in good condition, otherwise full credit cannot be allowed. The Railway Companies will not recognise any claim for non-delivery of goods lost in transit if they are not identified by senders within fourteen days from date of despatch; nor will they admit any claim for goods damaged or short delivery unless advised within three days from date of delivery. We cannot accept liability unless we are advised in time to allow us to comply with the above conditions. | ||
