S.U. ELECTRIC PETROL PUMPS.

With reference to our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/MA.12.9.33., we have today discussed this question with Mr.Morris of the S.U.Co. among other things and he thinks he can arrange to incorporate a small fuse as suggested.

He is arranging to look into the matter and advise us accordingly.

It has since occurred to us that if the fuse is incorporated in the pump itself it will be necessary to cover up the two live terminals as a short circuit would not only cut out the ignition but might cause a fire, owing to the close proximity of the pumps to the carburettors.

It would thus appear fundamentally better to place the fuses as suggested in the sketch.
