X300a 89 To H.F. Hamilton, Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, France. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}19/KW.25.6.36. We have sent you some Gandy's spherical pieces for the exhaust mounting. They can be fitted to either the 25/30 HP. or the Ph.III. These are of a cheaper manufacture and we wish to try them out. We are enclosing a sketch for the necessary holes to be drilled or filed in the cross-member of 32-EX to enable the bolt to be withdrawn when taking down the clutch. The idea of the two holes is to see whether a standard box spanner can be used, as well as the withdrawing of the bolt. Re your query with regard to unsigned memos., Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} must still sign these before work is started on anything. 32-EX. You have not given us the value of using the filter on the side of the frame as against the rear position. Your scheme of moving the pumps to the side of the frame I see is in conjunction with the side filter. What is the position using the rear filter ? Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.W.H. [Handwritten Notes] Notes Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} reference! 1) GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} retain 2) This memo is from Derby - is GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} here temporarily or permanently ? 3) Who is (temporarily?) at Chateauroux ? HFH{Hoppy F. Hamilton}? | ||
