(1) We enclose you herewith two money orders valued together £60. 7. 5. being the balance of wages and expenses due to the deceased at the time of his death., (2) These money orders were originally intended to be sent to Mrs. Halliwell direct and were consequently made payable to her at Bristol. (3) It later occurred to us that the amount should have been sent to you, as being part of the late Mr. Halliwell's estate to be disbursed according to law under your directions. (4) As no doubt Mrs. Halliwell will be requiring cash from time to time for maintenance of herself and her son, we have no doubt you will deal with this promptly as possible.
