X3199 W/S. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/HEW. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/HEW/WGL.20.5.31. RE : BATTERY IGNITION TROUBLES ON CUSTOMERS CHASSIS. X.3199 X.8783. With reference to our conversation of this afternoon with your Mr. Davis re ignition troubles on chassis, particularly with reference to your inspectors, we are sending a copy of the suggested procedure which we have drawn up which will prove helpful to Inspectors in diagnosing ignition troubles on chassis. This is more particularly the case of the 20/25 HP. This procedure may not be rigidly adhered to, but we just suggest and we should like your comments on it. The condenser from GLR-8 which was sent to Derby for examination as being faulty, as you know was found to be quite O.K. We think perhaps this procedure will prevent sending units back which are quite O.K. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/HEW. | ||
